✦ Source of the Nine
God
Uncreated source of the nine choirs
Divine Light — the Godhead, uncreated source from which the nine choirs proceed and around which every orbit of the hierarchy curves. Not a choir among choirs, but the light the First Sphere beholds unveiled: the seraphim burn nearest it, the thrones receive its decrees, and the lowest angel carries its messages to souls. Every arc on this map is drawn as a circle around it.
