Lucifer is the primordial fallen angel of Christian theological tradition, originally the most radiant and exalted of celestial beings. Cast out of heaven following a prideful rebellion against God, he was transformed into the supreme adversary, personifying cosmic hubris, spiritual darkness, and the descent from celestial glory into eternal condemnation.
