Lilith

In Kabbalistic cosmology, Lilith is the dark feminine sovereign of the Sitra Achra (the Other Side), emanated from the severe dregs of Gevurah. Serving as the consort of Samael, she forms the unholy counterfeit to the divine union of God and the Shekhinah. She stalks the night to prey upon solitary sleepers, generates hordes of demons from nocturnal emissions, and strangles unprotected infants.
